Nestled at 3 Old Concord Rd, this fast food gem is your ticket to an authentic taste of Asian cuisine, particularly if you have a penchant for Korean and Chinese dishes. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere, positioned within the bustling food court of HMart, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

Young Chow Loo serves up a delectable array of fast food favorites, but what truly sets this establishment apart is its remarkable selection of dumplings and noodles. The King Dumplings (8.50 for 2 pieces) are a must-try—flavor-packed, with a perfect bite that bursts with savory goodness. The Veggie Dumplings and Fried Dumplings (also $8.50 for 7 pieces) cater to a variety of palates, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied. If you’re in the mood for something a little lighter, the Shrimp Shumai (7 pieces for $7.50) is a delightful choice, offering delicate wrapping around fresh shrimp.

When it comes to noodles, the Jjajang Noodle dishes shine brightly on the menu. The classic JjaJang Noodle ($12.95)—notably their signature offering of noodles in a rich black bean sauce—is a favorite, and customers rave about the perfectly cooked noodles that manage to retain their delightful texture. If you're looking for something with a bit more heat, the Spicy Seafood Jjajang ($15.95) combines succulent seafood with the classic black bean sauce and fresh vegetables, delivering a symphony of flavors that’s hard to resist. The friendly staff, always eager to help, make the ordering process feel personalized and warm, further enhancing your dining experience.

One enthusiastic reviewer, Erika Mani, expressed satisfaction with the sweet and spicy fried chicken, emphasizing the delicious food and excellent service. Chris Park, a loyal customer, appreciates the friendly demeanor of the staff and suggests arriving early to snag a prime seating spot, especially on busy weekends. The jjamppong and tangsuyuk have also garnered widespread admiration, with one customer noting they visit weekly for their favorite pair. The unique JjamTan special that allows you to enjoy both jjamppong and tangsuyuk in one meal is a particularly clever addition that delights new and returning patrons alike.

In summary, Young Chow Loo is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience that promises satisfaction with every bite. This is my go-to place whenever I visit H-Mart food court. We usually visit on weekends and the lady that's always there is so friendly and nice. Very willing to provide extra pickled radishes or to go boxes, or whatever else we might need. It is a food court, and it can get busy, so I'd suggest getting here earlier if you want a table fast as it's first come first server, like any food court. We always get the half and half, whether it be jjajang-tangsooyook or jjamppong-jjajang or whatever else. The portions are great, as you can see in the photos. But the flavor is really good too. Especially on the jjamppong, we love the soup and the noodle. The soup has a kick to it without being overly spicy and has all the flavors of the ingredients infused into it. The noodle soaks up the soup nicely too. And there's a ton of seafood in it as well. Whenever we can, we always get the fried dumplings or goonmandu as well and they are amazing. They are so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They pair really well with the food. The tangsooyook is also really good in that the sauce isn't too sweet or tangy and the fried pork in it are also very crunchy. We like this place much better than the one down in Boston, which works out since we can just shop at the H-Mart too (and pick up some delicious egg toast from Oh-K Dog to go).

Oh Jajangmyeon (jjajang noodle) the one with black beans paste was so gooooood and delicious!!! The noodles were perfectly cooked and did not stick together when I took it out!! I forgot to write a review a few weeks ago. I was on a diet but I finished it in one go without regret but a bliss! The guy at the cashier was making sure I got my order right, speedy and friendly service. They packed my food really well. I'll try something else next time not sure I can manage not to get the same thing craving for it now..

Grew up in Korea and this place is close enough for me. Sweet and sour pork is one of my favorite on the menu. The seafood stir fry is good but not close to what I had been eating in Korea but the 짬뽕 with the broth is

I go there once a week to enjoy jajangmyeon, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk. Recently, I even tried their handmade dumplings. The jjamppong is stir-fried to order, giving the broth a refreshing and spicy flavor. The staff are always friendly. What's especially great is their "Jjam-Tan" special, which lets you enjoy half a portion of jjamppong and half a portion of tangsuyuk in one meal. Honestly, it's even better than most jajangmyeon places in Korea. I highly recommend this place!
